System Development Officer at Victoria Finance Plc (VFP), driving system development, IT administration, and business process automation within a microfinance institution based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Experienced in working across core platforms including Odoo, Musoni, and Microsoft 365 to support and streamline financial operations. Focused on building automation solutions that improve organizational visibility and efficiency — from loan management workflows to reporting systems — primarily using Python and JavaScript, with growing expertise in Java and Spring Boot for enterprise-level development. Combines hands-on technical skills (system integration, scripting, IT support) with a developing understanding of microfinance and accounting principles, including IFRS-based accrual accounting and loan interest income recognition, to better align technology solutions with business needs in the financial services sector.
Dr. James Mwangi is a seasoned financial sector leader with over 25 years of experience in banking and microfinance across East Africa. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Dar es Salaam and has served on multiple financial sector boards.
Mrs. Fatuma Salim brings extensive expertise in corporate governance, legal affairs, and financial regulation. She is an advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and a certified corporate governance professional.
Mr. Patrick Mwamba is a chartered accountant with deep experience in audit, risk management, and financial reporting. He chairs the Board Audit Committee and has worked with leading accounting firms in Tanzania and Kenya.
Ms. Grace Ndege is an agricultural economist and development finance specialist. She has designed and evaluated financial inclusion programs across Sub-Saharan Africa for international development organisations.
